The Book

Why the need for a book

When author Donna Heckler was diagnosed with cancer she struggled to find a resource that provided tips and information to address the ladylike issues she would face as she went through treatment. So she created her own. Throughout treatment, Ms. Heckler kept a journal that ultimately became the foundation for Living Like a Lady When You Have Cancer. Working with medical professionals, Ms. Heckler uses their insights, facts and tips while interspersing the personal stories of other cancer patients and survivors. Her hope is this book will help make your journey through cancer as manageable and in fact, radiant as possible.
